Her most recent solo show, Nesting, was at ZAINA Gallery in her hometown of Cleveland’s 78thStreet Studios. Mužina also writes and lectures about art, and most recently presented her research on women and nonbinary-identifying artists who complicate our readings of the domestic interior at the 2019 SECAC Conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In January 2019, Mužina won an Artist Enrichment Grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women. She is using the grant funds to support a new body of figurative paintings addressing the charged interpersonal dynamics between women on an everyday level as we negotiate the way differing belief systems interact with global women’s rights movements and crises. Mužina is still working on the series, which she began at the Sam and Adele Golden Foundation Residency in Painting in New Berlin, NY this past April. She lives and works in Murray, Kentucky.
